My career as a Relationship Coach began in 2004 when I participated in an intensive 6 month coaching & leadership program. I went on to expand my training and led transformational seminars for 3 years while coaching many people from all walks of life. My marriage separation in 2003, and eventual divorce, was a major motivation for wanting to expand myself. I realized that although I was successful in some areas of life, my current way of thinking was limited. I realized that limits in my relationships impacted every area of my life and I simply wanted more out of life. From that point on, my life’s commitment has been to develop myself personally and spiritually and to help others do the same.
Learning how to effectively deal with life’s challenges instead of handing your baggage off to another offers tremendous freedom. I know this, more than anything, is the key to having great relationships which will benefit every area of life. Most of my greatest breakthroughs as a coach came from working through, and learning from, my own relationship challenges. Being a parent, husband, divorcee, brother, friend etc. and losing loved ones to drug overdoses and disease allows me to pull from a vast reference pool of experience. Helping others create better relationships is my life’s passion. After a lot of hard work, difficult lessons and not one regret, I feel blessed to have so many loved one’s in my life. The feeling of freedom I experience with all of my relationships continues to expand and inspires me as a coach. I want everyone to experience what true freedom feels like and I believe it’s possible for anyone to get there. “If you want to change something in your life, you’re probably going to have to change something in your life.” The journey begins with a willingness to start and the commitment to follow through. After all, what could be more important?
No one should try to be all things to all people and I’m no exception. If you are someone who is willing and ready to go to work on yourself, instead of trying to fix or change other people or blame circumstances, I might be the right coach for you. I’ve tried to fix or change many things in my life, so I know from experience that it doesn’t work. If it seems to work, it never lasts. The only meaningful and lasting change begins and ends with you.
